The 15C discharge rate provides reliable power for high-speed runs. Features a dual‑plug design: JST-2P for discharge and SM-3P for balance charging. LiFePO₄ Advantage: LiFePO₄ batteries are safer than traditional Li-ion/Li-Po, resist thermal runaway, and last up to 4x longer (2000+ cycles vs 500 cycles). The lower voltage (6.4V) is specifically designed for RC cars and toys that require this specification — check your device’s original battery voltage before ordering.
Dual Plug Design Note: This battery includes both a discharge plug (JST-2P) and a balance charge plug (SM-3P). The JST-2P connector powers your RC car. The SM-3P connector is for balance charging with a compatible 2S LiFePO₄ charger — this ensures both cells charge evenly for maximum lifespan.
Charging Instructions: Use ONLY a charger designed for 2S LiFePO₄ batteries (6.4V nominal). Do NOT use a standard Li-Po charger set to 7.4V — this will overcharge and damage the battery. Set charger to LiFePO₄ mode with 2S selected — full charge voltage is 7.3V (3.65V per cell). Recommended charge current: 1.0A (1C). Connect both the JST-2P and SM-3P plugs during charging. Never leave the battery unattended while charging. Do not discharge below 5.0V (2.5V per cell).
Battery Care Tips: Avoid over-discharge — stop running your RC car when you notice reduced speed. LiFePO₄ batteries tolerate more abuse but still benefit from proper care. Allow the battery to cool before recharging. Store at 40-60% charge at room temperature. If the battery swells or becomes hot, stop use immediately.
